Last Sunday I made fresh pastry cream for my tartelettes aux fraises and of course, was left with egg whites I could not stand to throw away. Instead I whipped them up with sugar and pure cacao powder and came up with this easy peasy little dessert: chocolate meringue nests with mascarpone and strawberries! Versatile and very delicious!
